In 1948, Nick Thomarios started a small painting company to serve the residential and commercial fields of Ohio. His business grew steadily and became incorporated in 1969. Nicks son Paul began learning the painting business from the time he was old enough to hold a paintbrush. By the time Paul graduated from high school, his father was taking summers off to return to Greece. This left Paul in charge of the business. Paul Thomarios was instrumental in growing and directing his fathers business. Paul transformed the company, acquiring jobs throughout the country in the 1970s and 1980s. During that time the company expanded its range of services and became one of the largest specialty contractors in its field. THOMARIOS employs technical specialists giving the knowledge necessary to solve any coating, covering, or corrosion problem.

In 1995, Paul founded The Apostolos Group Inc. THOMARIOS which acts as a registered trademark under The Apostolos Group Inc., added a General Construction and a Construction Management division that serve both the public and private sectors. These groups have completed numerous projects covering a variety of scopes and magnitudes throughout Ohio.

In 1999, THOMARIOS set up a satellite office in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania to handle a demand for work in Pennsylvania and further east.

In 2002, THOMARIOS found it necessary to expand its operational facilities. The company moved into a building that houses over 48,000 square feet of both manufacturing and office space. The new space enabled THOMARIOS to set up a custom metal and wood shop to design and manufacture items to meet the needs of clients.

In 2003, THOMARIOS entered into the powder coating business. Investing in a state of the art 50-foot blast booth, 50-foot spray booth, and 52-foot curing oven. The unique capacity of our equipment makes it able for us to handle large items for our customers.
